Kareena Kapoor Khan did some slam poetry reading at a recent launch of her own show on a FM radion station. The actor who’ll be soon heard on a show titled ‘What Women Want’, read out lines that spoke about women just wanting to be.
“Talk too much toh feminist,
laugh too much toh she’s easy,
so much pressure to be thin,
when it’s fun to actually sin.
Na main sexy siren,
na mein rebel webel,
why do people want to
chipkao me apne label?”
These were some of the lines that Kareena read out from her first slam poetry reading at the event. The actor looked slightly ill prepared as she fumbled through a few lines, but since she’s a first-timer - here’s hoping we see her doing some more of this.
