Ranveer Singh is all set to begin prepping for Rohit Shetty's Simmba. Last September, Shetty gave a glimpse of his version of Chulbul Panday with the first look poster of Simmba, and fans cannot wait to see Ranveer in an all new avatar.
While the Bajirao Mastani actor is ready to roll the project, Shetty is yet to finalise the leading lady for the film. The names of Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, Shraddha Kapoor and Alia Bhatt have sprung up in the recent past.
But going by Alia and Rohit's equation, the Gully Boy actress seems to be the last choice for the film. Buzz has it that Shetty had apparently approached Alia for Golmaal Again, but she had asked for more time to think. And eventually the film went to Parineeti Chopra.
According to a report in DNA, some sources say that Shetty is apparently upset with Alia for not giving her nod to Golmaal Again. And he may possibly not cast her in Simmba, opposite Ranveer.
Meanwhile, Alia is busy shooting for Zoya Akhtar's Gully Boy and Ayan Mukerji's Brahmastra.
