Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna's candid pictures

Akshay Kumar and Twinkle Khanna are not only one of the most loving couples in Bollywood but are also the coolest. The Mr and Mrs Khiladi are always at their quirky best and never fail to amuse their fans.

Twinkle recently took to her Instagram to share the idea of her “Perfect Sunday”. Posting a picture where Akshay Kumar can be seen riding a rickshaw while Twinkle sits on the passenger seat, she captioned the image as, “My perfect Sunday though it may seem insane to some! Woke up at 4am and got in a solid 2 and a half hours of undisturbed writing time, a brisk walk with my dog and some goofing around with my rather cute rickshaw driver-All before 9 am:) #TheEarlyBird #TryIt”

On the work front, Akshay has an array of projects lined up before him which includes, ‘Kesari’, ‘Houseful 4’ and ‘Gold’.
It's Twinkle Khanna aka Mrs Funnybones and her late superstar father Rajesh Khanna’s birthday today. The lady, who gives her fans and followers their regular dose of humour, is currently holidaying in South Africa with hubby Akshay Kumar and family.

While a number of warm birthday wishes came her way on social media, hubby Akshay also joined in and shared a beautiful pic with his wifey from their exotic vacation. He posted a warm birthday wish that read, “Forever making every ride full of adventure and amusement, my favourite companion...for life! Happy birthday, Tina.”

We wish Twinkle a very happy birthday and a prosperous New Year.

Akshay Kumar and wife Twinkle Khanna were spotted on a casual date night in the city, after the successful launch of the ‘PadMan’ trailer. The first official trailer that released online on Friday, was well received by fans and critics alike for its unusual but true story and inspiring message. While Aki will be seen playing the leading role, his actress-turned-author wife is making her production debut with the film.

Speaking about the same, Twinkle said she is hopeful that the film will bring a spotlight on something that has been "hidden in the darkness.” In an interview with IANS, she said, “If nothing else, I am hoping that it will start a conversation within homes."

As a producer, Twinkle said she is keen to take up stories that are "compelling regardless of genre".

"Everything else is secondary," she said.

‘PadMan’ is based on the true story of Arunachalam Muruganantham, the inventor of a low-cost sanitary pad making machine in India. The film is scheduled to hit theatres on 26 January 2018.
