Salman Khan may be gearing up for his soon to release film ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. But the actor’s cult following, apart from awaiting his next release, is already looking towards his recently announced film ‘Sultan’. In fact we hear that the ‘Heropanti’ actress Kriti Sanon is being considered for the film.

Though confirmation is on the same unavailable sources say that the script has already been narrated to Kriti Sanon and the actress, who is currently working on her next ‘Dilwale’ that features Shah Rukh Khan and Varun Dhawan, is very keen on signing up for ‘Sultan’.

As for the film itself, ‘Sultan’ that is being produced by Yash Raj Films and will be directed by Ali Abbas Zaffar and is slated to go on floor next year with a release on Eid 2016.

Bollywood comedy icon, Govinda’s daughter, Narmadaa has launched herself as Tina Ahuja in upcoming Bollywood romcom Second Hand Husband.

Screen names are no new thing in B-Town but it is commonly believed that having a different screen name has everything to do with numerology. Interestingly, this is not the case with Narmadaa aka Tina.

According to Times of India, a close friend of the debutante confirmed that saying, “Tina happens to be Narmmadaa’s nickname. We (her close friends) address her as Tina for a couple of years now. So when it came to her acting debut, we thought her nickname sounded way cooler. Since she is young, Tina embodies her personality better, which is why the decision.”

Rajkumar Hirani to start Sanjay Dutt biopic

Blockbuster director Rajkumar Hirani says he will begin the biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt next year. Hirani says, “I’m working on the script of Sanju’s biopic. And we’ll be starting the film next year. We are writing the script and only once it finishes, we’ll be able to see how the characters come across and who would be apt to play the characters.”

Clearing reports that Ranbir Kapoor will play Sanjay, Hirani says, “Ranbir is the only one I’ve spoken to about the film.”

Kamal Haasan gears up for Bollywood comeback after 10 years

New Delhi: Kamal Haasan, who has been missing in action as far as Hindi film industry goes, is reportedly making a comeback with 'Amar Hain' in which he will direct as well as act. 

Haasan was quoted by a leading daily saying that the film has been on the back burner for the last six years. He also said that Saif Ali Khan was his only choice for a parallel role in the film back then and even now he wants to cast him in the said role. 

Speculations are that the movie is going to have an ensemble cast.

A source close to the development revealed: “Ajay plays Vijay Salgaonkar, a fourth grade dropout who is a movie buff and therefore, a cable operator by profession. He is a common man who leads a happy life with his wife and two daughters in a quiet township of Goa. He will be seen eassaying an intense character in the film.”

Directed by Nishikant Kamat ‘Drishyam’ also features Tabu, Shriya Saran, and Rajat Kapoor among others. The film is slated for a July 31 release and the trailer would be out on Thursday.

Later during the day when he visited a multiplex to unveil the trailer of his forthcoming filmWazir, he seemed to have a mini celebration of sorts with the cast and crew. He was seen in a white kurta pyjama with a blue shawl thrown on his shoulder. "Yes, today is our Vivah Jayanti.My wife not in town these days, she's gone abroad. I called her at 12 midnight and congratulated her.

We were talking on Facetime some time back but then I was in a hurry and had to rush for this event. I will go back and connect with her again," said Bachchan. Talking about his bright look with essentially the blue shawl making a difference, he said, "This was gifted by Jaya. It's a special one made only in Bengal. She presented it to me when I was in Kolkata shooting for Piku."

For the first time, a film will be shot at Salman Khan’s farmhouse

While Salman Khan often hosts parties at his farmhouse in Panvel, for the first time, he has allowed a film to be shot there. The actor has apparently offered director Kabir Khan the chance to shoot the last few sequences of his next, Bajrangi Bhaijaan, at his farmhouse. 

A source close to Salman says, “The farmhouse is his personal space. But Salman has made an exception for Kabir’s film. The actor agreed to offer the space to the makers as that would help save them time and money.” 

When contacted, Kabir, who started shooting at Panvel yesterday (June 3), confirms the news, saying, “We were looking for a location to shoot when Salman offered us his farm. The recce team loved it.”

Govinda's daughter Tina to be launched in Bollywood with Gippy Grewal

Narmada Ahuja is working with Gippy Grewal in her Bollywood debut film.

Popular Punjabi musician Gippy Grewal will soon make his acting debut in Bollywood with the film, Second Hand Husband, which releases on July 3. While he plays the male lead in the movie, senior actor Govinda’s daughter, Tina Ahuja, will play the female lead. 
Talking about his first acting venture, Gippy, whose track Angrezi Beat became a huge hit and was featured in the film Cocktail (2012), says, “I am very excited about the film. I hope to win over the audience.” While Gippy already has a fan base in India and abroad, Tina is yet to earn hers. “I have a ­legacy to carry forward, but I also want to make an impact on my own. Dad is the best at what he does, and I look up to him for inspiration. I hope I can make him proud,” says Tina.

Directed by Smeep Kang and produced by Gakhal Brothers Entertainment Pvt Ltd, the film also features ­veteran actor Dharmendra, Rati Agnihotri, Ravi Kishen, Geeta Basra, Sanjay Mishra and Vijay Raaz. “Since the film features young actors, and the ­storyline is fun, I’m sure the youth will instantly connect with Gippy and Tina,” says Amolak Singh of Gakhal Brothers. The trailer of the film is out already, and its foot-tapping music will soon be available on Zee Music.
